Jill Buckley – ‘Artist-in-Residence’ for Canadian Quilter Magazine

Jill Buckley is from London and is a member of London Friendship Quilters’ Guild.  She turned to quilting when she retired from the garment industry and was inspired by a visit to the 2002 Grand National Quilt Show.  She immediately entered a challenge and was thrilled to be awarded both Best of Show and Viewers’ Choice.  She has continued to challenge herself and explore new ideas ever since.  Her design was chosen as the logo for Quilt Ontario 2011 in London and since then she has been serving as ‘Artist –in-Residence’ for the Canadian Quilter Magazine (CQA) and  presenting design ideas to Canadian quilters.  www.thequiltrat.blogspot.com
