Clue # 6

  •  Cut 2 strips of the dark fabric 2 1/2 x45
  •  Cut 2 strips of the light fabric 2 1/2 x45

     

  • Sew light and dark strips together using 1/4" seam allowance and press to the dark side.
  • Cut into segments 2 1/2" wide. You will need 32 of  these.
  • Sew two of these segments together as you did in clue # 1.
  • This will make a 4 patch and you will need 16 of these.
 
Clue #6 will tell on #4 and clue #5 - now they won't have any defence unless they join forces to confuse  the detectives!
