On the third Tuesday evening each month, a different skill
will be presented by a different instructor, as you make a series of small
quilts that will fit on an 8 ½” x 11” display stand. Stands available for
$3 from Linda White.

This fun lap size quilt with its ‘wonky’ free form houses,
set off by a traditional appliqué border, appeared in Quilters Newsletter in
2006 (design by Martha Walker). It is a skill building project, involving
machine piecing, paper foundation piecing, hand appliqué, reverse appliqué,
folded flaps & dogtooth border. Brush up old skills and try some new ones
on the third Tuesday of the month, from Jan. to May.

Scrappy ‘Stained Glass’ Quilt – 1 day

In a hurry? A variety of 2 ½” print strips set off with very light and very
dark strips, create a ‘stained glass’ effect in this quick machine pieced
quilt. May be made in any size, from wall quilt to queen/king bed quilt.

Basic Quilting – 8 classes
In this class you will learn all the basic techniques of
cutting, marking, accurate machine piecing, layering and quilting, through
the construction of the several blocks, that make up a small wall quilt.

Discharging black fabric is the perfect method for
creating moonscapes. Just as the night sky is full of mystery, so is black
fabric. Create you own night sky with bleach and use it to create a ‘one
of a kind’ art piece!
