Info for the 2012 “Pieces of Magic” Quilt Show Challenge

The 2012 quilt show challenge will be “Proverbs in Fabric”. You are invited to make a wall hanging or other object to depict a common saying, slogan, or proverb such as “wise as an owl”, “raining cats and dogs”, or “ a stitch in time saves nine” . The parameters will be:

1. Any fabric, any colour, any embellishments

2. Maximum perimeter 120 inches

3. The title will go on the display card

4. The submissions will follow the same procedure as other quilts ( to be announced later)

So put on your creative thinking caps and let’s have many entries. This is a fun project, suitable for all skill levels, and meant to get as many members as possible involved in the quilt show.
